An Asian American, born and raised in New York City. I live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan.

I picked up photography as a hobby in 2015 by taking photographs of friends and family. In 2018, I met a couple of photographers around the Bryant Park area and observed how they made candid photographs of people on the busy streets. After looking at these photographers’ work on their social media and websites, I became fascinated with the street photography genre.

Since then, I have started to pursue street photography by capturing the day-to-day moments around me with my camera. I also have started studying the works of past and present photographers. My main source of learning and inspiration is photography books but I love seeing the work of other street photographers that I’ve connected with on social media and in person out in the streets.
